Lucas grew up in a troubled environment. He had a depressed mother, was mostly on his own and barely had enough. As an adult he is facing stress management issues and takes to alcohol as a coping mechanism.

William is 57 years old. He has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and was hospitalized during a psychotic episode. William is now stable and has been recommended group counselling to help manage his mental health.

Forty-three-year-old Harry is a convicted sex offender. He has recently been released after serving a term of seven years. Harry wants to correct his pro-offending thoughts, beliefs and behavior and change for the better.

Margaret, 49 years old, is at the neurologist’s clinic for a memory loss assessment. Margaret accepts that she is a little forgetful lately but considers this to be a normal thing. She is very anxious about her appointment.

Seven year old Billy is overly hyperactive and rarely able to sit still. He is often fidgety and finds it difficult to stay focused. Billy’s teacher pointed out his restless behavior to his parents in a recent meeting.

Mark is a 32-year-old male who has been in a car accident about a month ago. He does not remember the details but gets agitated and anxious at the mere thought of it and often wakes up from his sleep in a traumatized state.

Kate in a 38-year-old woman displaying strong urges to committing self-harm. She accepts having cut herself once and burned herself. The first incident occurred sometime in her early teens and the last one was a year back.

Twenty-one-year-old Tracy is at the emergency department for pelvic pain and genital lesions. She has an active sexual life. She uses protection sometimes and has had sex with partners who use injectable drugs.

Jack, 31-year-old male, realizes that he tends to forget things. Driving from one place to the other, he can’t recall what happened during his drive. At times, when talking to someone, he misses out part of the conversation.
